ABOUT TOTALSHIELD
TotalShield®
technology was originally designed and tested by Keith W. Snyder in
2002. In addition to being a Senior Member
of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratory he was
also the lead mechanical engineer in his department for 20 years. His expertise in mechanical design and analysis,
along with extensive experience in the design of impact and blast
resistant structures drove the development of TotalShield®. Originally
designed to contain flying debris from a high-speed centrifuge,
Mr. Snyder realized the life-saving potential of the technology
after 9/11 and founded TotalShield®.
The TotalShield® team are leading experts in structural design
of impact and blast resistant structures. They have forged a critical
relationship with Southwest Research
Institute, the leading authority
in blast and impact testing in the United States. |
